Adrienne Martin is the Founder and CEO of the National Black Sisterhood Association. She is no stranger when it comes to making connections. She's the catalyst for meaningful relationships and collaborations. Adrienne was driven to designate a national holiday to celebrate the profound bonds of Sister circles across the globe. In addition to creating the National Black Sistethood Day (NBSD), the National Black Sisterhood Association (NBSA) was formed. Over the past 5 years she host the Girlfriends Superfest which is a girls weekend for women across the globe to come together for a weekend of fun in different cities. She is also the founder of the Best Boss Group USA and the Best Boss Awards Gala. The Best Boss Awards Gala is a platform celebrating the success of hundreds of black owned entrepreneurs annually. Prior to starting the Best Boss Awards she successfully owned and operated Adrienne's Dance & Baton Co. for 22 years. Adrienne's Dance & Baton Co. was Jacksonville's first black owned dance and baton twirling school. She's been featured in several magazines such as Shoutout Atlanta and Women in Business to name a few. Adrienne is a co-author for the book "Women Who Pray" and he visionary author for two book collaborations, "Sister Listen to Me" and "Best Bosses the Vision". She was a finalist for the trailblazer award for the Jacksonville Image Awards and a honoree of the 2024 Duval African American Women's History Month Project. She's a dedicated mother to Latoya and grandmother to Kingston.
Valerie Johnson-Johnson is a Co-founding Pinnacle Sister for National Black Sisterhood Association. She is a proud wife, mother and CEO of Generation Rental Properties LLC. With over 35 years of experience in the real estate industry, Valerie has dedicated her career to building and managing successful property investments. Her passion lies in mentoring ambitious, driven individuals who are eager to embark on their own journeys into real estate investments. Valerie have a deep passion for establishing and uniting genuine sister circles across the world. Desiree Jones is a Co-founding Pinnacle Sister for National Black Sisterhood Association. She is a proud wife, mother of three and CEO of Step by Step Behavorial Health. Desiree have over 15 years of experience in the mental health industry. Her philosophy is to raise awareness,provide support and share resources for the tools and support to help people decrease and eliminate mental health issues. She has a strong passion for the community and pouring positive life learning skills into our youth. She is the founder of the Shades of Green Mental Health Awards of Excellence. This platform celebrate the success of mental health advocates and pioneers. She believe sister circles provide a powerful space for connection, healing, empowerment and solidarity. The National Black Sisterhood Association is a community of African American women who have built strong, trust-based relationships with each other. Drawing on the traditions of their foremothers, these women provide a supportive network to lean on during life's challenges. By fostering transparent connections, the association helps its members find strength, comfort, and a sense of belonging. The sisterhood bond is not only integral to our development as humans, but it's our special connection to our very survival. One of lifes most meaningful ways to thrive is through our spiritual connection with God and healthy relationships with our sister circles which are comprised of dedicated women with genuine trust, empathy, forgiveness, love and support for one another. We are the home of National Black Sisterhood Day.
